day 7

day 7

Checked out the practical cycle in old town Sac. Tim has been a life long activist, pushing for reforms all over the board. He practices what he preaches; rides his Pedego electric cruiser to work, and his restored Worksman tricycle to Trader Joe’s for groceries. Since 9/11, Tim has fought to end America’s addiction to foreign oil. He developed a hemp-based biofuel system and lobbied for the legalization of industrial hemp in Arizona. He organized two "Peace Trains" to Washington, D.C., to protest war in the Middle East and promote rail travel. He also founded the voluntary conservation movement featured in the popular film, iDrive55, which debuted at the Nevada City Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival in January. He noticed that we didn't have a bike horn to warn cars if they are getting to close so he donated us a super loud horn for the trip. Thanks Tim!
